My 2023 STX Build

Yesterday I got rid of the diapers and switched to the Raptor skidplates. I had to move 2 grounds for the steering rack for the engine cover to fit correctly. It bolts in with the new holes I drilled for the Tremor skidplate and the existing bolts on the rear of the plate after removing the little bracket that the felt pieces bolted to. The trans skidplate bolted up with no issues.

Yes I did. It was fairly easy. Works great. Even the feel of the new wheel is amazing compared to the original one

What theme did you use for your display? I used the super duty for the software heated steering wheel button. Yours looks like the unreal

Yeah I did the unreal theme and also did the super duty side card with the heated wheel button.

This is my '23 STX in Hot Pepper Red. So far I have done trailer brake controller, bed lights, changed front emblem to a black tremor one with camera and washer, 12" radio swap, and just added keypad. This is just the start lol. I plan on doing mirrors and add the 360 cams, cluster swap, get it lowered with wheels, and change out heads, tails, and fogs. It's been fun learning these new trucks and keeping me busy on weekends doing things while I am on the road. Some pics of the progress.

Your truck is awesome super intrested in adding the 360 cam if u can keep me in the loop this is also my first f150 and am super pumped on making the changes mine is also an stx

Thank you!! Yours is pretty bad ass as well! Yeah the 360 cams has been amazing. One of the best things I've done. It's not to complicated to add. There are a couple pain in the ass parts to do like taking apart the under hood connector on the firewall and also getting through the gromet in the firewall. Running the coax through the door gromet wasn't terrible. Highly recommend a fiberglass rod for fishing the cables. I got one at harbor freight that's been fantastic. Also I bought a Snap On wire insertion tool that made life easy. This forum was a ton of help and a bunch of great people. I'm glad to help out any way I can just like I got helped. I would start with the 12" screen swap if you haven't already as you will need that APIM. This is a video that one of the members here did. I watched this a lot then did the install.

Ya my first mod was new screen and apim when been trying to source the parts I need for the cameras and looking for part numbers on wire harnesses your build is goin right along the lines of what I’m wanting to do I’m glad I seen your post your truck is super cool

That's sweet. I did it little bit at a time knowing I was going to add them so I did the front emblem first with camera, then did the mirrors with power fold and cameras, then finally I did the new IPMA and wired it all together. Then had some help with the programming did the calibrations and boom been working flawlessly. For the mirrors I only had to wire up 2 wires for the power fold the rest of the wires were there for the turn signal, spot, and puddle lights.

Forscsn can be scary at first. Sometimes I'm still like oh crap was that right ?. When I swapped clusters that was a little difficult at first with forscsn but once I figured out where everything was it went smooth.
