So today after stopping for breakfast, when I went to leave and listen to the radio, I got nothing but silence. It appears that the mute is stuck on. The volume button does nothing and I can’t change the sound settings. I tried a reboot of the head unit with no luck. I can’t find any way to unf-ck this and it is maddening. $70k lariat powerboost 502a and it will be back in the shop for the second time in 3,000 miles. Broken fuel door peg the first time. I also get these intermittent idiot lights that come and go. Love the ride, but really starting to dislike the BS.
I have not found anything on this stuck on mute problem, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you solved this yet? Mine just did it this weekend and I want to avoid a trip to the dealership. Thanks.

Sorry, but it took a trip to the dealership. Fortunately it was a relatively quick one, and there was nothing that needed replacing. They basically unplugged and reconnected all connections and that did tue trick. Apparently something wasn’t seated correctly. I will scan and post the write up. No issues since.
