Hi all,

Long time reader, first time poster here - so thanks in advance. I've searched the forum for previous posts and couldn't find anything to help. Apologies if I missed something.

I'm interested in replacing my stock fog lights with 4Bangers in my 2023 F150 Tremor. I haven't been able to find any brackets or kits besides using the DD SS3 kit. Has anyone found an elegant solution installing 4Bangers in the stock location? Or if you know of any installation guides using the SS3 kit, I would appreciate that as well.

Somebody did that either on this forum or the f150 tremor forum. I don’t remember the member. I have the DD kit and am very happy. Is there a particular reason you want to use morimoto pods? I have a full install guide on my build thread, page 7 of Space White Build. It’s a lengthy process to make the switch! What are you after with your lighting?

Ok - I'll check out the Tremor forum.

Nice! The DD kit looks nice!

My preference for Morimotos is really only technical. I've consumed multiple independent reviews which appear to have rigorous empirical data that show the 4Bangers perform better in total brightness and sustained brightness after long durations/heat generation. Practically though, I'm sure I'd be plenty happy with the SS3s and may just go with them for ease of install. I'll dig around for a couple more days to see if there is an easy and elegant install for Morimotos.

I'm probably part of the minority that don't mind the stock fog light look. The motivation to upgrade is more practical. Last year while hunting in the back country, we got absolutely crushed by weather. Visbility far and near was terrible. I would have paid a million bucks to have some high quality (yellow) fogs to help me find the path off that mountain. My buddy ended up side slipping into a tree and dinging up his Taco pretty good. It was an hour of sucking the seat cushion through our pants!

Found your build page! Thanks!
