Modify performance of cargo lights

I have tried to dig through the forscan spreadsheet but some of the line items in the BCM sheet are just a little to cryptic for me to want to start flipping random switches. Does anybody know if there's a way to alter the way the cab mounted cargo light functions? Mine turns on any time the doors are opened, and I'd like to have it mirror the in-bed cargo lights. As it is now if I have a door open and I'm working around the truck I can't just press the cargo lamp buttons to turn it off, I have to close all the doors and wait for the parking and puddle lights to time out for it to turn off.

I agree, this would be a good change as the factory function has you have stated sucks, the button is basically useless, because all you got to do is crack the door to get the cargo light on, and then it won't turn off with a button, so it's basically a wasted button in my view. Unfortunately I have no answer for you either, if I hear of anyone else on Facebook or other places I would report back.

They changed this for 24s where the bed lights come on with the cargo light / doors. Really dumb logic in the 23s. The cargo light button in-truck is supposed to operate the bed lights as well. One of the projects I'm going to do is place a diode between the CHMSL cargo light and the bed lights so they'll turn on with the cargo lamp.
