The chime fix is coming to all platforms in the next couple of weeks. I will post on here when its ready.
Any update?

I would like to go with a mObridge device paired with my Helix DSP/Amp install starting soon... but need to know everything is able to function as it should OEM.

I was looking at the amp and the DSP. Just a black hole when it comes to these guys on information. Did find some positive and negatives about them. Offered to put it through its paces if priced right, ultimately decided it wasn't worth the hassle. I was concerned about the chimes and didn't get a clear answer on it. When installing my pac A2B, I was connected to FDRS and it installed / configured new lin bus module. While the DSP as a truck module has vanished as the factory amp isn't in it any longer, all works as it should.
did you have to make a change in FDRS after you removed the original amp?

Spent the last two days updating modules via FDRS and made a few forscan changes. I have that same DTC since I removed the DSP for aftermarket amps. I also have a DTC from another module. They are not causing any issues, safe to ignore.

When I installed my a2b device, when I was connected I believe FDRS automatically did something. It's been 2 years but when the amp was removed and the a2b installed it installed or initialized a new device. I didn't do anything, but something somewhere installed a new device. I'd posted about it but there's not much luck on finding the post. Was caught off guard by it and didn't really think to document at the time, everything just worked and there's no DTCs

I have DTCs that come and go with the replacement unit mobridge sent. My original unit was doing weird stuff with the tone and fade balance settings, dropping signal on channels.

It’s kind of finicky in that the a2b seems to power on slow sometimes and the truck doesn’t see it which brings the DTC when started. I came to this conclusion after clearing the DTCs because sometimes the chimes (they haven’t fixed this yet but are making progress) come thru speakers and when this is true there are no active dtcs, but when the truck is off and started before the mobridge powers on (I think) the chimes come thru instrument cluster there are active DTCs.

Ryan from Mobridge has been responsive thru email so I’m hopful to get this resolved.

Anyone have pictures of their amp rack with the mObridge 8.1.1 set up in an F150? Trying to figure out the wire/power layout so that the install will look good/professional.

Wow. Hopefully they get it together. Have you inspected your wiring? There are several cab grounding points in the back of the cab. If you can create the noise on-demand, try running a jumper between the ground point on the back right wall of the cab and the amp. What motor do you have?

I have a PB and the electrical system is a little different in its layout vs the ICE only models as the main battery connects to the BCMC's main 12v busbar via an isolator (a bunch of mosfets on a heatsink in a NC position) with 6ga on one side and 8ga on the other. Its primary purpose is to keep the under hood batt charged. The DCDC is powered by the HV system (essentially a water cooled 280v DC to 14v DC voltage converter capable of continual 220a output) with a separate aux battery on the BCMC's 12v bus. I replaced the aux battery with an LFP that can handle transient loads at the 14.2v the DCDC can be made to run at (connects to the BCMCs 12v bus via a discrete 4ga wire). I connected very short 8ga runs to the frame and the cab (where the LFP ties into the cab ground) where they they then both combine into a junction block that feeds the amp. Their combined resistance is better than a dedicated 1/0 run to the batt.

With the amp peaking at 115 amps of current draw the electrical system doesn't blink. I was seeing less than .1v drop on the system with a scope. I'm going to do more tests once this storm passes. Hope you get a resolution -- not a fun spot to be in.
Can you diagram this our or explain bit more? I am doing same now with my 21 powerboost. I'm trying to avoid running ground all the way back to the main battery. What LFP battery did you go with for the AUX?

Anyone with the new firmware manage to get the chimes working well? I can get them to be audible with a reset, but seems changing speaker mapping breaks it until you do another factory reset. The only way I can get it to work is setting my woofers as mids and setting them to specific channels. Trying to map the "Beeps" anywhere else doesn't work. Kind of sucks since the stock mobridge speaker mapping is all over the place and I can't load my saved tunes without breaking it.

It was nice to have chimes for about 5 minutes . Now I either have my DSP sound terrible or no chimes at all.

I reverted back to the latest stable so I can at least tune my DSP and have the chimes come from the IPC, but wanted to see if anyone else is having the same issue.
