Missing frame holes for Raptor skid plate

I have a Job 1 2021 Powerboost FX4. I thought I would be able to install the OEM Raptor transmission skid plate to replace the felt (or whatever) one, but the front access holes for the capture nuts are not in my frame.

Would tapping the frame for the bolts work, or does that cause problems down the road That the capture nut/bolt setup avoids? I am also going to get a quote from a local 4x4 shop on if they could cut the access for the capture nuts. Are there any other options I have not thought of?

PB owners don't use the holes that are not there.

In my case at least, that would mean the front of the skid plate would not be attached. Do you have a link - I did search first.

I don't see issue drilling into frame, but that is up to you. Not sure if Ford ran any wiring internal with frame but I doubt it.
