Tremor Skid Plate Kit

I know there are threads about this kit but I’ve run into a problem. Last night was my first night drive with the powered air dam off and now my fog lights do not work. Anybody but the kit on an factory halogen truck? Do your fog lights work?

Are yall cutting the motors off the air dam and putting them out of the way inside the bumper?

I took everything off mine. Even the motors in each side. No issues in mine with fogs.

Hmmm, the only thing I changed electrically was unplugging the powdered air dam. No check engine light, but fogs now don’t work.

Are you oem led or halogen?

It’s a 502 so led. Very odd. Guess I got lucky.

This just doesn’t seem logical, hopefully a halogen truck will chime in! Thanks for the input!

I removed the entire air dam and motors and all. Disabled the DTC using Forscan and no issues at all.

Same for me - unplugged my air dam with LED fogs and I have no issues

When you installed the skid plate did you remove the bumper and fog light housings per the directions? If so I would back track your reassembly steps and make sure all of your connections are solid.

That is the plan! I did not remove or unplug my fog lights. Only unplugged the motors. But your definitely right.

Maybe the big connector that goes from the bumper to the truck is loose.

This is what I’m thinking, I’m away from the truck for a week. But I’m going to trace all the wiring. I remember not getting a click from that massive connector.

Y’all were correct, just got back in town. Went under the front bumper and clicked down the arm on the massive bumper connector. Everything is good to go now!!
