My 2022 F150 Lariat has about 500 miles left on its initial 3/36 warranty. It's recently started missing at idle when it's first started started in the morning. Is this concerning? Most of the trucks I've owned did this after a while, but of course they were older tech and were nearing the first tune up and that was normal. What say you? Should I slide into service before I run out of time?

Hi there! If you'd like, I can look into your concerns on my end. Please send over a DM with your VIN and Ford dealer info.

I know it's a forum and everybody is a keyboard badass, but try not to be an asshole. I have plenty of common sense as a matter of fact I'm very familiar with cars I rebuilt my first engine when I was only 15 years old. What I don't know is a lot about technology in the last 5 years. This is not a lack of common sense question. It could be any number of electronic issues the people consider part of the deal. As you probably know one of the things that many people consider unfortunately part of the deal are the issues that some of us have with transmissions and the occasional recalibrating that is required.

Again with the negative crap. I can do that. I can take a day off work and rent a car because I work 300 miles from home and can just get a ride.. or I can ask a for people are supposed to be helpful if it's a known thing and if it's common and if it's a problem. But rather than see beyond your own judgmental BS you can't imagine a situation where it's a whole thing to just take it to the dealer.

Speaking of common sense, the engine miss-firing would be covered under your powertrain 6yr/60k mile warranty.
