Mirror paint match cap

I wondering if you all are just painting the black part of the mirror or buying a cap and getting it painted. I cant find any info on this and would like to do it to my truck. Thanks for the help

You didn't mention what color your truck is or if you had the full size or mini mirrors but assuming you have the little ones there is an Ebay seller who sells painted OEM caps. They are not inexpensive but the quality is very good. Mine are the tow mirrors but the link shows standard caps available.

Not sure of the suffix for primed but these should be the base part numbers for right and left if you have power, signals and cameras in your mirrors. If not...it's something else. Honestly, call one of the dealers who sells parts online and ask.
