Maybe buying tomorrow

Hi everyone, I had a 2021 XLT SCrew for a while. Fast forward to today and I have a wrangler and a C8 Corvette. The Corvette is a blast, but it’s missing the soul of old sports cars I used to have. I’m looking for a fun every day family hauler and I stumbled across a GEN 3 raptor with all the options I want brand new. I’m just looking for someone that came from sports cars into a raptor and hasn’t looked back.

I don’t expect the corvette thrills or the looks the car gets. But also, I’m 38 with two young kids. I don’t fit in with the new balance retirement brigade. Yet. No disrespect. Just not my scene.

Wants? Keep the vette and get the truck. Needs? To not have 170k in cars at this time and have a Swiss Army knife. I think the Raptor checks most of the boxes.

I can get another 4 seat sport car a la M3 or m4 soon enough. This truck will be a cool daily. Jeep. Is NOT

Note: I don't know exactly what the new balance retirement brigade is, but I bet at 65 I'm unwittingly related? Lol
I keep a 2 seat 3 pedal toy (or 2) around just in case I need to scratch that soul-itch. And I don't have much $ in them at all.

I am also 38 yo with 2 little kids and a ‘23 Raptor. You will love it. I come from an ///M, AMG, an S-class etc. Would love a Corvette but don’t have one yet (also a little worried about the culture thing you alluded to!). I’ve realized that a 2-seater makes zero sense at this stage in my life. The Raptor is a great combination of fun and utility.

Ford offers the fp700 kit on 2021+ 5.0s and it comes with a 3 year/36k warranty. Just informing is all. Based on your post, you might want to look into a Raptor R instead of just the Raptor.
