Congratulations! And, best wishes with the new truck.I want to say thank you to all those that responded to this thread. After inquiring about the diminished value and seeing what kind of deal they could make on a new vehicle purchase, I ended up going that route. However, I did not buy from the dealership that did the damage. I reached out to my sales manager at the dealership I originally bought my truck from (to see how fair the deal was) and upon hearing about the issue they offered to match the deal. All said and done, they ended up beating it by a couple thousand. I'm now in a 2022 XLT 302A with a 3.5L, max trailer tow, and 360 cameras. Despite the nearly $5k increase in base price and $2k extra in options than my truck, I was out the door for ~$800 more than my original truck. Interest rates have shifted a bit, but despite that I feel it was a solid move. Also, when I got the truck back I noticed the top fender bolt (under the trim that at the bottom of the windshield) was still loose and that just left me with an uneasy feeling about the work they did. Overall, I'm happy with how things turned out and I really appreciate the support and guidance provided by this thread!
