Nice links. I did not go for a Lariat because of the black interior. It's just too hot in the South, so I went with a white truck and the Slate interior, and that is boring. The Baja would have been even better.

I am looking to add some ventilated color without being garish.

Katzkin I had installed about a year into ownership. I tried to wait but the cloth had to go.

My demons are at war. I can afford Katzkins, but if Ford drops a Superduty hybrid on us in a year or two, I am buying one. Any money I put in the F150 is going down the toilet. Some of the slip on covers are nice looking and have good reviews for fit and wear, but there is no ventilated option.

My wife says buy what I want, I could die tomorrow.

You may want to stretch out what you got and just hope you do not die.

Super Duty Powerboost should hit 2026 if the reports are correct. While quite a bit more expensive than Katskins it should rock with all the learning they have from the PB F-150. 2025's are just getting ready for plant tooling in a couple of months so 2026 is not far off.

Also of note the Ram 2025 Ramcharger should be out by the end of the year so that will ready for to be put through the gamut. Sounds like it is built on a heavy duty frame too.

I put in Raptor take-off leather when converting XLT BAP heated seats to heated and cooled seats. Love the comfortable feeling, even my favorite passenger said they are more comfortable. Raptor take-offs are relatively inexpensive on eBay.

If you were truly concerned about ROE, you wouldn't have purchased a newer truck, but instead a 5+ y/o "good enough" that had already depreciated. Your photos in other posts show you're a car guy. Do the car guy thing and indulge a bit.

When I am going to make a purchase, I first decide if I am buying new or if the purchase can be bought used. Examples of new purchases would be TP, underwear and food. Examples of used items would be a wood chipper, concrete mixer and a lawn tractor.

I did an extensive used vehicle search before buying new. There is a very low supply of clean, low mileage used vehicles in my area. Those that I would have considered were IMO, way over priced.

The real number is cost of ownership. For the first time ever, I did not put money down. The finance rate is 5.5%, my investments are making me 14%. Putting money down or paying cash would have cost me more than the cost of 100% financing. Financing used would have been 8%-ish.

I am trying to figure out the color of the stitching on my 2023 Dark Slate seats and black console cover.

Is the stitching light gray, off white or silver?

After many hours of research, I ordered a set of Clazzios. I am certain that in a side by side comparison, the Katzkins are probably nicer, but for me they are not 3x the price nicer.

I ditched the ventilated seats option. I already have heated seats that I will rarely use and the truck cools off pretty quick compared to the black Santa Cruz it replaced.

Everything I want in round one has arrived or is on order except for the dash cam.
