Did anyone have any luck getting this resolved? I brought truck into dealership the other week to have them look at it. Had to book an appointment 6 weeks in advance after 10 days they hadn’t even looked at it yet so I gave up on them because I needed the vehicle.

Wondering if it is even worth having it sit for another two weeks somewhere if they won’t figure it out anyway. Also having a problem where the alarm goes off for a “trailer disconnect” when the vehicle is off and locked, so I have to manually disconnect the trailer before turning off the vehicle.

Mine still does it on occasion. Would be nice to know if an OTA has addressed it, but 1) My truck refuses to receive any OTAs since about a month after I bought it and 2) Ford tells us little to nothing in their half assed release notes about what is and isn’t addressed in each update so we’re left to guess.

Don’t think this is anything a dealer is going to “fix”, it’s likely all software.

Did anyone have any luck getting this resolved? I brought truck into dealership the other week to have them look at it. Had to book an appointment 6 weeks in advance after 10 days they hadn’t even looked at it yet so I gave up on them because I needed the vehicle.

Wondering if it is even worth having it sit for another two weeks somewhere if they won’t figure it out anyway. Also having a problem where the alarm goes off for a “trailer disconnect” when the vehicle is off and locked, so I have to manually disconnect the trailer before turning off the vehicle.
Some Ford rep posted he was going to do something on mine and another one here.
All it was , was a bunch of hot air.. He did nothing, I had a Ford rep email me about my windshield recall and knew nothing about the Lane Assist.
So the guy did nothing and no longer responds to any messages.
One day after about a month it just started working again..
Ford is the worst about taking in vehicles and just letting them set. What's the sense in having an appointment if it's just going to just set in the weather.
I would find the Ford Satisfaction line and raise hell.
Keep us posted..
FORD SUCKS!!
This will be my last Ford!!

I believe I’m on the latest OTA (2.1.1) and if anything it has gotten worse recently, not better. If it is something addressed in an OTA it hasn’t been yet…

Yikes. Yeah I love the truck (first truck, first Ford) other than this big but the service experience was awful.
When I do book an appointment I tell them I'll sit there and wait on it.. I've told them if I have an appointment I don't expect it to be parked on their lot for days,
That's BS!! Tell me when you're putting someone on it and I'll bring it in..
Also the extended warranty is a joke, I paid for a free rental car if they're going to keep it..
I've yet been able to get one.. They either don't have any or they have like one or two and they are never available.
I was one of Fords biggest fans..
I'm now one of their worst critics..
Ford could care less about its customers and especially the earlier purchasers of this
F-150..
I'm too deep into my build to trade it..

My screen has gone black a couple of times, that was in the first couple of months from my purchase date.
