Two questions:
Does lane keep assist require cruise control? If so, I wish it didn’t.

When in Forscan, I see settings for lane keep assist. Does anyone know what the sensitive settings do?

No it does not require cruise. It kicks in around 39 mph and works good for me. The sensitivity is for how aggressive it makes corrections to keep in the lane. LKA is one of the main features I wanted and so glad it comes in the XL trim.

so I believe there is alert only, low, and normal

Alert only will just kind of vibrate the steering wheel a slight bit. Low will provide a little bit of backfeed or steering away from the edge of the road. Normal is essentially the same as low, but it is a little more forceful.

My comments apply to vehicles with Adaptive Cruise Control.
Be careful to distinguish between the two different modes of “Lane Keep Assist” - LKA when ACC is not active, and Lane Centering when ACC is active.
As others have noted, LKA gives so-called “haptic feedback” (steering wheel vibration) as an alert and supposedly applies a little steering pressure if you wander across the white line. (I’ve never felt it do that, but the haptic feedback is pronounced even in low alert mode.)
Lane Centering will actively work to keep the track centered in the Lance. LC appears to be the technology that underlies Blue Cruise hands free driving.
