For them to actually be active, you need to be going at least 40MPH. I think mine activates around 38 or 39MPH

I don't believe we are talking about the same thing here. It does show on the dash that it's ON but when it's actually active, it'll turn green. You have to be going at least 40MPH, check your user manual!

That’s crazy! I’ll take a video of mine next time I’m in traffic. I often choose stop and go traffic to eat a snack or something. The truck definitely steers for me the whole time. One of my favorite things.

I think you’re right though that we’re not talking about the same thing. Maybe lane centering has different parameters than lane keeping. I’ve just always used those two interchangeably

Lane Centering: Part of the ACC/BC that keeps you centered in the lane automatically.

Lane Keeping: An alert or steering nudge if you start crossing a lane lane. Only happens when you are driving manually without ACC/BC.

My truck's lane centering seems to drop out then come back on more since I got the OTA Power Up 2.5.3/2.8.3 update. I've noticed it several times and it is concerning. The lines on the road are well marked.

After getting my truck back from the dealership today.. it turns out that lane keeping system does NOT work when your in tow/haul drive mode. I think it’s stupid that Ford disables it in tow/haul mode.. it just doesn’t make sense Lol.
