Ha, excellent point on the wife...she is leaning hard towards platinum, but really doesn't care as long as it haves massaging seats!

That's an awesome pair of trucks! Is that platinum SQ? and the KR AB? Still have yet to see a SQ in real life!
I am sorry but do not know what an SQ or AB is. Willing to learn.

I purchased a Lariat, spent $65 k for mine. Price could have still gone up. I think there are a couple of options I didn’t have available, like the lay flat seats. I think that from Lariat up, it comes down to what interior scheme you like best, as you can pretty much deck out all of the above trim levels. I really liked the two tone leather over the all black or KR leather. I didn’t want something as flashy as the Raptor, that I feel like says, hey look at me I have a raptor. Just my two cents.
Also i didn’t order my truck, I bought it off the dealer lot, I went to 4 Ford dealers around me, and it was the only Lariat/KR/Platinum I could find. All other trucks were XL/XLT, or Raptors, and 1 Black Widow for almost $90k

Hi again everyone-

Thanks for all of your input and like every decision I hemmed and hawed for what seems like forever...but for once it paid off! Once the MY 22 order guide was released I waited to place an order for the AM Platinum with the black appearance package, which was exactly what I wanted. On top of that the local dealer honored the X-plan....now the wait begins.

Very nice, good luck with your order for your new Platinum. Does the dealer have any idea when this truck will go into production? My 21 took around 5 months from being ordered to delivery. My order was placed in March 2021. I got Carbonized Gray, but my second color choice was Antimater Blue. Btw my truck is awesome and it was well worth the wait. I have 2000 miles on it with 0 issues….

I went with the KR for the two tone, KR interior and massaging seats. The 601A package gave me all the extras I wanted and I saved a bundle not getting the Moonroof or Chrome package. What was most important to me function wise included the 360 Camera, Spray in liner, Int work surface, Max tow, Trailer mirrors, and I still managed to keep a reasonable 1599# Payload. List was just over 70K not counting dealer prep, paint and interior protection but I got out the door for $66K.

Dealer didn't even want to guess when it would be delivered. They did advise to leave out the spray in Berliner to move things along. But we have a great lineX shop down the road so was going to use them anyway.

Awesome Rig and congrats! Love those pics!
your set up was what I would've done in the KR for sure. Also sounds like you got a decent price.
