I got the "Key FOB Low Battery" message on the dash. After replacing the battery in the key FOB I still have the "Key FOB Low Battery" message even after several days, I thought it would go away on its own after a couple of days, silly me. I looked through the ForScan tool but did not find a reset type function.

Thoughts?

Same problem here. Did you find a solution? I am wondering if the battery I bought was bad.

I just bought a 17 Explorer for her a couple of months ago. Push button start.
One of the fobs were giving the low battery warning when I bought the car.
Bought new batteries and while installing, noticed that one of the batteries was in upside down (two batteries/fob).
Might want to look a bit closer into that.

May also want to check if the batteries are the coated ones with bitterant on them to deter children from swallowing them. I've heard that can mess with the contact a bit.
