Anyone have their truck not respond to the key fob or the key pad and have to use the key on the key fob to unlock the door? Only to have the truck start right up and work after started? It’s not a battery issue on the key fob because the key pad would not respond either.

Truck probably entered deep sleep. When this happens things like remote start, keyless entry, and FordPass connections are shut down to preserve power in the battery to keep other systems powered. Odd that the unlock button on the fob didn't work though.

In my experience deep sleep only allows the fob to work. The sensors in the handles don't work, which I think is odd and not something I think was true on my '17.

I've never used the keypad so not sure about that.

Seems like maybe the battery voltage dropped a lot. Might be a good idea to have the 12v battery looked at many people have had problems with them in this generation.
