Actually, minor update regarding my comment about the update. I had been having some issues with certain apps (mainly SiriusXM*) not allowing me to resume audio if a call came in or I turned the radio off, and not being accessible to onscreen CarPlay button commands unless I opened them on my phone first. Without any updates on the relevant apps or to iOS on my phone, now with the 3.5.2, those issues have magically resolved. Now, it’s entirely possible it is coincidental, but it’s also possible Ford did some bug patching in the release as well. Guess we’d know if Ford’s developers gave actual release notes instead of a marketing generated looking message, but alas, they do not.I got 3.5.2 yesterday (9/16).
I’ve noticed *no* changes, so I’m inclined to believe Ford‘s vague statement about it being the “update that allows future updates” in that it’s some sort of foundational update for an upcoming update, presumably either libraries needed for the future update, or an underlying OS/app update.
*my vehicle was a forced delete of SiriusXM 360L and connected nav, so I can only access SiriusXM via the app on my phone.
