Job 1 EA Blue Cruise Poll

My last OTA was Power-Up 2.3.0 in Jan/Feb and nothing since other than recalls No clue when I'll see BC, as the local dealers here have no clue or a backlog and no calls backs.

After doing a lot of reading here in forums, I don't see why they could not just updated as needed the needed modules and then update for BC?

I have looked into FRDS, but honestly I am not that impatient or desperate yet, this should be something the dealers should be able to do or OTA.

I have read lots from @Jesse-Infotainment, very informative and the day I decided to get the FRDS and components, I'll revisit Jesse's postings on it.

Thank you Drwhite. Just to those that are waiting on OTA.. I posted a updated OTA list in the ecu thread. I’ll go ahead and post it here also


When you see the 2.3.0 and 2.6.0 they reworked the uodates and rereleased in a new version still doing the same thing. So 2.3.0 and 2.6.0 are the same update. So if someone got 2.3.0 and someone else gets 2.6.0 they didn’t skip an update or you didn’t miss one.

If equipped with the Ford Co-Pilot360TM Active 2.0 Prep Package, this update will prepare it for Ford BlueCruise activation. If the vehicle does not have the hardware or software necessary to support BlueCruise, this update will still prep the vehicle to receive future upgrades.

2.5.3 gave my truck the multi-view camera enhancements (rear view, bed view, and hitch view while in motion) and also updated the driver assistance settings to have the same nomenclature as those of the Job 2 trucks (I compared the descriptions between the Job 1 owner's manual PDF and the Job 2 one).
