I have a 2021 2.7l Lariat that needs an IWE replacement. I'm outside of any warranty coverage so I'd prefer to wrench this myself.

I'm experiencing a little bit of confusion with replacement part numbers. My local Ford dealership wrote out an invoice for parts, but when I look up these part numbers online I consistently get messages that the parts will not fit my truck. I get that it's probably a safe assumption that the dealership is providing me with the correct part numbers because they pulled the list from my VIN. However, I'm still looking for some reasoning on why every online part store is telling me these parts will not fit. Could this be explained by the build date or the truck having Max Tow package?

At the end of the day I'm trying to avoid paying a restocking fee/shipping for ordering the wrong parts as well as getting gouged by ordering parts from the dealership. Any advice is welcome, thanks!

Dealership provided part numbers:

Actuator Assembly HL1Z-3C247-A

Kit Repair HL1Z-3C247-B

Tube Vacuum FL3Z-7A785-A

Maybe I’m crazy but unless you have an absurd amount of miles, or if your hub bearings are cooked, I’d only replace the Actuator Assembly HL1Z-3C247-A.

maybe others can chime in with some reason

I wasn’t aware 2021 models had vacuum actuators. My 2022 has electromagnetic actuators…

I would also only do the actuator and see what happens. You can test it yourself if it is vacuum.
