Is Sport Mode faster than normal mode at drag strip track?

For the people who go to the drag strip I was just wondering if sport mode is faster than normal mode? Not sure if anyone has tried it. Sport mode seems faster driving around but not sure if it is any faster at WOT.

Sport mode doesn't increase the HP of the truck. It just changes the throttle sensitivity and shift points to make the truck more lively. Whether it helps at the track or not, I can't say. I do know that on my PowerBoost, mashing the gas in Sport vs Normal gives a much snappier launch due to how the electric motor is used in each mode.
