Is my new Mongoose used?

I just bought a Mongoose off ebay to try to get my truck updated. It came in a sealed box, but the only things in the box were the mongoose with a cable attached and a velcro tie around it. Nothing was wrapped separately in plastic, and there were no papers, manuals, or anything else. Did I get sent a used unit?

No doesn't sound used, it has velcro on it and comes with nothing more then a card in the box. The card tells you to goto https://www.opusivs.com/support/downloads to download the setup program.

I bought a used one off ebay and it has worked perfectly multiple times so if it is working then I wouldn't sweat it to much

That's exactly how mine came, wasn't used as best I can tell and works perfect.
