Is CCD a noticeably smoother ride?

The highest trim packages have continuous controlled dampening. Does this result in a noticeably smoother ride? I’ve never been in a vehicle with it.

There’s only so much that can be done with dampening. The solid rear axle makes it even less of effective. Spring rate and other things are going to have a bigger impact on how smooth the ride is.

IMO, it’s a gimmick and many people who have it aren’t satisfied with how much dampening is available on the stiffest setting.
