I’d like to know anyones thought or opinions on being able to ask a dealer for invoice pricing in today’s settings covid/chip shortage whatever…if anyone’s tried or did order a factory order, is it possible to ask them for the order summary sheet with invoice? Is this not feasible?
A dealer told me the negotiations would happen once the vehicle arrived. It did not sit right with me.

I had to email quite a few dealers but found one willing to order the truck I wanted at invoice price. Had a couple of others at 500-1000 over invoice so there’s still some dealing left if you don’t mind driving. Any dealership that wouldn’t make a deal before the truck arrived definitely seems shady

There are three dealers on this board that are doing under invoice.

@Granger Ford is doing 3% below invoice. I traveled from Florida to there as have a few other members of this forum. Great purchase experience. I was in and out of there in about an hour.

Anywhere near Virginia? Lol. Gonna take a stab at beachford. Va beach.
Koons Ford in Woodbridge, about three hours from you. Ask for Dexter. They are doing 5% under invoice with a refundable $1000 deposit. He's still submitting 2021 orders until the 2022 Order Banks open this Thursday Sep 30th. He started a thread in this forum that you can search for.

i ordered my King Ranch through Chapman Ford in Horsham PA for 3% under invoice in May. I would recommend them as well. Ask for Tom Borah the owner.

Forgot to mention the other two dealers, Granger Ford in Iowa and Chapman Ford in Pennsylvania don't require a deposit. I have an order with Chapman, which is 3% under invoice. Thought I read somewhere that Granger had dropped theirs to 2%.

I had read the same (and now cannot find the thread), but Granger just quoted me 3% under invoice and not 2%.

I'm pretty sure Granger is sticking with their 3% below for 2022 based on their posting here. I will say they did request a $1000 non-refundable deposit from me, but so far has been a smooth experience.

We are still offering 3% under invoice.

RalpL you’re the man. Just as you said, Dexter delivered. Got a shocking deal so good that it pissed me off how much I would’ve ended up paying for a trim lower at the local dealer. Going to get my 500 back tomorrow. Officially the best forum here. Appreciate it gents.

A few of us newbies here went with Dexter @ Koons of VA. https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/members/koons_woodbridge_ford.6656/.
I’ve got nothing but positive things to say about dealing with Dexter. He is a straight-shooter like some of the other dealers that i read about here - Chapman of PA and Granger of IA. In today’s rip off market, it’s good to have a few options where one doesn’t feel being taken advantage of or plainly ripped off. If all goes well, I’ll be looking forward to my 4 hour drive this winter down on South 95.

Julian, Glad to help. Kind of a funny story about my experiences with the three dealers mentioned. After some less than desirable experiences with local dealers ranging from premiums over MSRP, first order disappearing into a black hole, and no comms from dealer on resubmitted order, I decided to do the long distance thing with Granger in IA after reading all the good things about them. Then I stumbled across Chapmans in PA. Since I grew up only 20 miles from them and still have family in that area, I submitted a new order with them a couple of weeks ago. Then Dexter posted about Koons in Woodbridge. Well, I lived there for 14 years and my son still lives in Norfolk near you. Kind of weird (in a good way) to have some sort of connection to two of the three dealers mentioned in this forum. Like F150SWPlat said above, it's nice we have options to work with three really good dealers we can trust. You're right, these forums have truly been helpful. Cheers!
