Intermittent AirPlay connection

I have noticed that sometimes my phone will not connect on AirPlay. It would be working fine but if I stop and go into a store when I start the truck back up it won't connect. The bluetooth connection is there but not AirPlay. Has anyone else noticed this issue?

YES!!! I'm not the only person!! YEA!!!

This... This right here is the single most infuriating thing that Sync4 does. About once in every 2-3 dozen starts Sync4 REFUSES to connect to Carplay. Doesn't matter if it's wired or wireless Carplay either. I found that I have to remove the phone from the truck as well as in reverse. Then it takes on average 4-5 complete setup attempts along with two complete power downs of the truck AND the phone to get it to start working correctly again. And that's If it feels like it.

The most recent episode I gave up trying to get Sync to connect to Carplay after the 5th attempt and left it be using bluetooth audio till I got home. Came back out 30 min later and it connected to Carplay immediately like it never had an issue.
