Insurance Change - 22 to 24

All types of insurance have been rising in cost. I used a local broker this time to rerun numbers, helping to reduce home and auto insurance. I have switched from Liberty Mutual to Hanover (for SE Michigan) and a new broker came in with Auto-Owners lower homeowner's by almost 2K, if I added an umbrella policy; ie multiple policy discounts.

My insurance (commercial policy) for a 1/2, 3/4 or 1 ton truck won't change is $2368 a year. Keep in mind that my coverage is 500k+ on bodily injury, property damage, UI, Medical with $500 deductible.

I seek to be unburdened of what has been. A lot of it has to do with the amount of coverage due to increased prices of vehicles.

Why you say? apparently "crime" is up which is causing rates to go up...at least thats what they are saying. oh, and cost of parts are going up.

I honestly think its b/c insurance is super quick to total shit out now. sometimes due to parts being unavailable vehicles are being totaled.

i pay monthly. full coverage $94 to $142! thats just not simply going up, thats highway robbery at this point!
