I am adding heated seat pads to the back seats of my wife's Maverick. My question is how can I add an extra momentary push button by the driver to power the rears seat heat switch? I would like it so that after the button is pushed, the rear heater switch energizes and controls the seats but when the vehicle is turned off, the seats do not turn back on as the vehicle is restarted. You would have to push the button each time the vehicle is started to be able to use the heaters. That way if there is no one in the back and the rear switch is left on by mistake, the heaters would not work without input from the driver. I believe this can be done by using the momentary button to provide power to a relay but I am not sure how to wire everything. Any help is appreciated.
