I forgot, I also set them up to flash yellow for the blinker, which took me a minute to figure out and I had to use forescan to set that up. Because forescan has to seperate the brake signal from the turn signal in the factory truck wiring. It's been a while and I don't remember the settings, but it was pretty straightforward in forescan once you get it working.

Yeah, seem a little cheap feeling, but so far no issues and the red and yellow let's are nice and bright.
Well, I'm very tempted to risk it and order the inginuity tail lights. I emailed them, asking to confirm if these were compatible with the 2024, they said yes they are, but they recommended a different set as they are "better quality". Here's what they said verbatim:

"Hello,
This car light is compatible with 2024 F150 XLT, but the quality may not be very good, it is best to buy this one

https://www.inginuity-time.com/prod...r-lamps-assembly?_pos=15&_sid=35da14e28&_ss=r

thank you!"

I definitely get the sense that there is some language barrier there, but they responded quickly. I'm going to be out of town this weekend so when I get back I'll decide what I'm gonna do and if I order I'll share a link to a new thread or just post results here.

One thing I am concerned about, but it looks like it is a concern for all the aftermarket tail lights I've seen, is that the BLIS sensor location on the '24s is different than the '23s. '24s are at the bottom of the tail light, '23s are in the center. Subtle difference but who knows how sensitive these are and how much it could affect it. All aftermarket tail lights I've seen, even the Morimoto XBs move the sensor to the center, like the '23s.

Interesting. So they redesigned them. Maybe the backup lights are better now. If they are I might just order the new ones. They changed from 3 lights to 2 and made them smoother looking and with animation of the surround light.

I don't think moving the blis sensor is going to matter that much. I'm going to lower my truck with a 3/5 drop. That's moves the sensor lower to the road. I image the radar is still going to see anything beside me.

Did either of you end up ordering the new version? I've been considering these are well. Was Forscan needed to make them work properly from the start or just when switching the turn signal from red to amber?

You don't need forscan to make them work, they include resistors to mimick the incandescent load so that the truck doesn't think there is a light out and blink fast. But, one of my resistors wasn't working right and sometimes it would blink funny. It's a simple change in forscan. So I ditched the resistors and just made the change in forscan. That's also when I added the yellow turn signals, which requires you to seperate a couple wires and then tell the truck via forscan that you did, so that it energizes the correct wire. I don't remember the settings, but it's not complicated. It's literally a choice in the basic programming in forscan. You don't need to know any fancy codes.

What year is your truck? I see Morimoto is now saying their lights aren't compatible with 2024+ with BLIS, so I'm wondering if these would be an issue as well.
