Posting this in case anyone else is interested in these tail lights...

These things are nice for the price. I purchased them directly off the inginuity website and they were shipped from New Jersey. Their website is a little messed up though. If you search for your actual truck they might not come up. I had to put in lariat and then the listing says xlt. Here is the link... https://www.inginuity-time.com/prod...nch-compatible-with-blind-spot-monitor-system

The entire factory blis module and cover transfers over to these lights. I had to cut off a small injection tab that was in the way, otherwise it was easy install.

In the pictures they look a little orange, but in person they are very red. When you press on the brakes the protruding lenses light up along with the entire ring around the light gets brighter. There is a pigtail you can setup if you want them to flash yellow for the turn signals. I didn't bother with it.

This is the install video.

How's the reverse light illumination? Some brands suck real bad.

I would say they sorta suck, but I haven't been anywhere yet where it's super dark. They cast a vertical strip of light, which I'm going to assume, is not going to be very helpful. Hmmm. Might have to get light strip that goes under tailgate. I like them otherwise. I might wire up the yellow turn signals.

Here is a pic against my garage. They look brighter in the picture. It's not that bright in person.

They actually look pretty nice! Nice find!
I sent back the oracle ones, have to see what they refund me. It said there was a 5% restocking fee and some other $20 fee.

Also, when I checked out... the inginuity ones only came to $288 shipped? Way better than the current morimoto sale of $630

How are you liking these lights? Thinking of grabbing these instead of the morimotos.

Love them. Nice and bright around the perimeter and it has 3 dimensial look to rear facing part. Reverse lights not the greatest, but I don't care. I also hooked up the wire to have amber turn signals. If you have halogen you have to make a change in forscan to separate the turn and stop wires. Also, I did not use their resistors. I just turned off bulb out in forescan. No fast blinking from interior turn signal.

Still loving these tail lights? I read through the Oracle thread and found this one, if I can get the company to confirm they are compatible with the 2024s I might be buying soon!

Yeah, they work fine. Backup lights suck though. And instead of using their resistors for the fast blinking I went ahead and re-programmed it via forescan. Can you mod via forescan on the 24's?

Meh, I've seen these before. The inner plastic moldings and wiring look very TEMU at best. Morimoto's quality is way above these.

I have no doubt that the Morimoto are better, and they damn well better be for more than 2x the cost, lol. I'm not even sure this cheap ones from Inginuity are compatible, just doing my due diligence I suppose.

My situation is an odd one in that I had/have no desire to modify the rear taillights on my truck, I just happened to slip on a patch of ice while walking to my truck this morning, stuck my arm out and 'caught' myself, but my forearm hit the rear tail light on my truck and cracked the lens. Whether its shit quality, cold temps, bad luck, or I hit it harder than I thought...it was a real shitty way to start my day. I'm looking for the best/cheapest way to fix it. OEM replacements are $542 from Ford directly, $599 from a scrap yard...

Thanks for the response! I have seen some back and forth about Forscan, and its kind of a mixed bag for what you can and can't do. Definitely seems to be reduced ability to change things, but I'm no expert. I'm coming up on 3 months of ownership, my first Ford since the 2004 Taurus. I was thinking of buying a cheap laptop and cable and doing some simple things but I broke this damn tail light and now want to focus on fixing that first.

I found a link to this Forscan tutorial and mod list that makes it sound like its still worth trying on the 24s.

Removed link to the spreadsheet, I don't know why it posted weird

I can see that as a case-and-point type of scenario.

This could have happened to any large/larger tail or headlight over time, whether said period was short or long. Polycarbonate(s) have a particularly amazing ability to crack when exposed to chemicals, ie. polymers/cleaners/prepping/ceramic coating or even your basic wax coat. My previous 2014 taillights were just as "brittle". One (1/2" edge) chipped from a broomstick barely tapping inside the garage during one late bitter cold rainy day.

I forgot, I also set them up to flash yellow for the blinker, which took me a minute to figure out and I had to use forescan to set that up. Because forescan has to seperate the brake signal from the turn signal in the factory truck wiring. It's been a while and I don't remember the settings, but it was pretty straightforward in forescan once you get it working.

Yeah, seem a little cheap feeling, but so far no issues and the red and yellow let's are nice and bright.
