I’ve added it to my 2024 Lariat. It’s a plug and play into the headlight harness or you can add it to the fuse box under the hood.Is it possible to add the Ford Illuminated Emblem to a 24' XL RCSB? I am not sure how its powered or if the wiring provisions are already in place, just curious if its plug and play possible or would it need to be rigged otherwise.
scroll down to the section that says "Fits These Vehicles" press the "+" to expand details... Putco is the company that makes these for Ford... So you can also check out their website from my previous post. Putco does have pretty good technical service help as well.Does this work on the 2024? The title says 2025

There are some sellers on Ebay selling brand new Putco illuminated front emblems at more reasonable prices. But, make sure to confirm they authorized online resellers for Putco products. There is a link at the bottom of the page below that has a spreadsheet of all the online authorized resellers.I found a local place that does these installations for less than 50$ cause I ain't breaking shit on my new truck lol. But putco is good and will be using them but the price is really high tho
Hi, what fuse did you tap into?Yes, Putco made the OEM LED emblem for Ford. It is a great product and easy install. I originally went with the fuse box install but didn't want to modify fuse box/lid to be able to get the wires in and have it closed correctly, for warranty reasons.
I went with the parking light headlight harness from Starkey. The OEM Putco harness will only turn emblem light on if the headlights are on, so I went with parking light so it would be on when remote started and when headlights are on. There are many ways to connect but the headlight harness is easy and no factory wire tapping.

I did not tap into a fuse because I did not want to modify the fuse box or fuse box lid to get the wires into the box. I did look into taping the headlight harness DRL wires but they are actually a PWM signal not a typical +12V when the DRLs are on. The PWM signal doesn't work well without adding other components to smooth the voltage waveform so the output to the illuminated emblem is more constant.Hi, what fuse did you tap into?
The only reason I didn't want to use the OEM/Putco plug-n-play harness is because the emblem will only illuminate when the headlights are on. With the Starkey harness the emblem is connected to parking lights circuit, emblem illuminates with remote start and also turns on with the approach lighting.I installed the Putco front emblem light in my 2024 F-150 Lariat 502a.
I ordered it thru Ford using my pass points and it came with a direct plug N play harness into the right headlight.
Works great!
Mine does the same thing, Lights up on approach, remote start etc.The only reason I didn't want to use the OEM/Putco plug-n-play harness is because the emblem will only illuminate when the headlights are on. It just depends on when you want the emblem to be illuminated! All personal preference!
Interesting, they must have changed up the plug-n-play headlight harness.... because originally the OEM/Putco harnesses we only on with the headlights.... which I did verify on a couple of trucks that had it from the factory. Actually, I checked a 24 truck shortly before I decided to go with the Starkey harness in December 2024. Regardless, that is good news because I thought it was a little lame to only have it on when the headlights were on!Mine does the same thing, Lights up on approach, remote start etc.
