I've seen worse. I had a lifted Ranger back in the 80's with 33's which was pretty controversial back then.

Honestly the only mistake made was going with such skinny sidewall tires. If you're going to big, go all the way. 22" wheels with some 37" tires would balance the look out better. Granted it would look even better with some 18" wheels with 35" tires on it...
