Ideas for improving back seat comfort

The F150 SuperCrew cab sure has plenty of leg room in the back seat. I find the seats to be not that comfortable. Even in the Lariat, I feel like I am sitting on a board. Does anyone have a suggestion for making them more comfortable (other than stepping up to a King Ranch or Platinum)? Do the seat bottoms break-in and get more comfortable? I may just get some foam seat pads.

i personally think my Lariat seats are comfortable compared to the competitors. KR and Platinum seats are nicer for sure.

Well, after sitting in the rear of two Lariats last week that felt uncomfortably hard, I sat in two different ones today that were cushioned appropriately. I hope the one I have on order is as comfortable as the two I sat in today.

Fact is. Once they went with the fold up seats. Back seat took a hit for comfort
My 02 f350 had a Uber thick comfy rear bench , I slept on it a few times.


My 06 was a flat thing
My 22 kr are ok..
But I don't ride back there....
I am selfish
I either drive or sit in passenger seat.
They do need some more stuffing in the lower seat .
Plus some more depth

I had a 03' XLT CCLB F350 sport with leather and that was some of the best quality and comfortable seats ive ever sat in. Sadly the newer stuff just aint at that level.

the leather and foam do need break in time too.

A little off the subject but funny. Henry Ford when learning of the hanky panky young folks were doing in the back seat of the Model Ts he ordered the width of the rear seat reduced so lying down was not possible. I guess he never read Karma Sutra.
