What is the nickel trick? I have not heard of that one.
Where did you get the metal pin from? I saw it advertised at some point and have not decided whether I will change it or not.
We will need a pic once the mods are complete.
BTW, you need to drive that truck more. They are so much fun!
I agree with posting the pics once all the mods are done.
I had not heard of the nickel trick either so I had to google it.

This is the very video I watched to learn how to do it.

I got the billet fuel door pin from MegaOhm. My rationale behind replacing a brand new pin was if the pin ever broke, I'm screwed. The fuel door wouldn't latch and the truck wouldn't get the vapor something or other and it wouldn't start and you're stranded. That's what I understand and believe would happen.
I'm really going to detail her up real nice and take some glamour shots on the Air Force Academy. I'm tickled about doing that.

I do not know about you all, but I have some electrical gremlins. Speakers, bluetooth, running boards, etc.
I hit a bump while driving today and there was a change in music volume.
When I got home, I checked the fuse boxes.
The fuses in the one under the hood were all loose.
I did not find any loose ones in the cab box.

Hopefully this will take care of things.
I know it was listed as something that should be done at pickup, but I was in denial.
