I love my employer, getting a new work vehicle

So I’ve always used my own vehicle for work but my new job really wants me in a company vehicle. I’ve been using my 22 F150 RCSB but I asked if they would let me pick my vehicle if I could get it cheaper than what they buy on average and they agreed. I also got approval for something not white.

The one I found at the dealer 5 miles from my house that I hope to pick up tomorrow or Wednesday

5.0 same as my XLT. I’m so swapping the headlights lol. I went to drive it today and I forgot how tall the 4x4 is and about fell out of it.

Your black two tone looks really good. Did you black out that grille?
And did your bumpers come like that or were they chrome and you had them matched?
I love the way the reg cabs look but I just hate that you can’t recline in them.

I switched to the XL grill as this was mine when I picked it up. The bumpers were that way from the factory.

So unless you get the XTR pack you get painted bumpers. I wish they would specify this stuff when you build on their site. I also had to figure out that the headlight housing is now black on XL’s and XLT’s unless you get the XTR package.

When I ordered my 21 ( in Aug 20), I ordered an XLT 301a.
got the XLT for the chrome bumpers and the touch of chrome on the grille.
I also considered the two tone pain, then found out that got me painted bumpers. If I wanted two tone and chrome, I had to add the chrome package.

This, to this day makes absolutely no sense to me.
The XLT comes with the chrome I wanted and no more.
order two tone and you have to add chrome that you already paid for with the trim level you orderEd.

Not paying twice for the same thing, so that thought went right out the window

But, two and a half years and 30k on the clock, I’m still more than happy with it. SuperCab/8’/v8/4x4/velocity blue/Baja tan.
Rides almost as nice as my 98 k1500, but handles a lot better. Also an additional 7mpg.
