Come over here and piss off the wife.... She can make a sailor blush....ROTFLMAOMosey, Could you give us some pointers on the language you used when that happened? I know I need an expansion of the breadth of mine. The same old words make me weary.

It might be very effective, but I cannot pronounce it. The +$ looks like it has potential.Son-of-a-&$+$
I don’t see any plastic drain pan on the transfer case shield. You do you. I’ll take out a few bolts vs spending time trying to get all the oil cleaned off the shield. Makes no sense to make a mess if you can avoid it with four bolts. If I'm right, Ford designed this bash plate to enable a tech to drain it into a shop oil collector. So taking it off isn't needed and that's what I saw when I drained mine. If you look at the oil filter it specifically has a plastic drain installed to direct the oil from the filter into a drain pan.
Well, the drain pan I referred to is for the oil filter on the front of the engine. When I changed transfer case oil it drained onto the bash plate and came out one of the holes in it, a single stream. As if that was planned. My inference is that Ford planned it that way to minimize the things the techs have to do. The truck must be level.I don’t see any plastic drain pan on the transfer case shield. You do you.
