Hello All,

I’m wondering how I can safely remove my climate control paneling. I have a dash rattle that is identical to the rattle outlined in this thread: https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/dash-rattle-fixed-2021-f150.9077/

I simply do not know how to remove the panel to address the issue. I greatly appreciate any guidance on this endeavour. Thank you in advance.

Hi there! I can look into your F-150's noise concern on my end. To get started, could you please send a private message over with the name/location of your local Ford dealer and your F-150’s VIN?

Attached FYI. You should be able to access what you need without removing the entire instrument panel, just selected pieces of trim.

Get a set of nylon trim pry tools from harbor freight and use the figures in the attached to see where the hidden clips are located on the trim you need to remove for your purpose so you can pry at those locations.

Good Luck.

That’s very helpful; I’ve never had to trim pieces of interior in that manner before. I’m skeptical that I can do that without damage a piece of trim during the first attempt, but it may be worthwhile to resolve the issue
