Trying to fix the B&O Speaker leak. Cleaned out the front drain tubes, but they weren't really blocked up. There was some black silicone paste type stuff blocking maybe 10% of the hole size, but I picked that out with a pen.
Now planning to add the butyl backed tape under the spring hole as seen in the video below. Question is, how is he peeling the headliner down in this video? Tried pulling mine down a little but keep getting the feeling im gong to break something.
In the video he just pulls it down right where the speaker would be. Anything need to be unclipped or unscrewed first?
Also in the cases where this roof leaks through the speaker, does that normally kill the speaker, or is it still good? My hearing isn't good enough to tell.
