Thinking of ordering a 2022 next spring when our current car is paid off. I really want to treat myself to a luxury ride under $70k if possible. im thinking a Lariat with 502a, twin panel moonroof, 6.5’ bed, crew cab but want to know how quiet is the cabin at highway speed? Our current car (stock Subaru Legacy) is so noisy that you can’t have a conversation with the passenger in the back seat without raising your voice a lot. I’ve looked at the Ram 1500 limited but love the look of the F-150 more.

I can’t speak to the lariat but my platinum is the quietest cabin I’ve ever had. I have no doubt that it’ll be quieter than your current Subaru.

Yup - piling on. Much more quiet than my former 2010 F-150. Probably the most quiet cabin I have ever owned.

If you order now, you would get the special offer and probably take delivery in the Spring. The cabin is quiet with stock tires.

Super quiet. It has double pane glass and is body on frame, as opposed to unibody. It’s even far quieter than my previous S-class Benz, which had a ton of noise from the big AMG wheels and low profile tires.

My Lariat 4x2 is quite. I like the quietness of the stock exhaust too. Just got the truck yesterday and was on the interstate and before you knew it I was at 85 mph, felt like I was crawling....

The only time is "noisy" for me is when going through a tunnel or passing a big rig, and even then, it's still fairly quiet. I have a 502A, just don't have the moonroof.

My 502A, under normal driving conditions, is so quiet I can't honestly tell you if the engine is on or if the truck is running on electric only unless I watch the tachometer.

I do not have a moon roof though. I'll never have one of those again after the last truck. Over 2k to replace the entire unit after a single piece of plastic in the track broke and it caused it to no longer close fully.

It’s shockingly quiet. I work in the auto industry and have driven pretty much everything in the luxury market. The new f150 is amongst the best for cabin and wind noise when it’s unmodified.

I have this configuration with 4x4 and it is shockingly quiet. I have only been on one hwy trip so far, and it was quiet enough that my friend slept on the way home. Very glad I made the decision to buy this truck!

I hear a bit of wind noise from the mirror once I get much above 40mph.

I came from an 18 xlt to a 21 xlt and the sound difference was easily noticeable. Much quieter on the road.
