I have a 502A BAP with with spray in liner on the same build week, I'm also nervous for a delay haha.

I'm curious if the spray in liner will hold it up at all, but after having it on my last one, I didn't want a local 3rd party option.

Well mine just updated ..... Scheduled 10/20 to 12/08 lmao. Almost a 2 month delay

Placed my order about a week ago, no build date but supposed arrival date in January… All I have from Ford is a confirmation of receiving the order

I just talked to my dealer. I changed to a 502A they had on ground. It's very similar, the only non-dealer installed option it's missing is Bed Utility which I was iffy on anyways, and i'ts a powerboost instead of the straight 3.5. I almost ordered a powerboost, so having to switch to it also isn't a big deal.

The local dealer I'm using has been amazing to deal with. I lost my program protection from July, but they're heavily discounting this one to match what I had agreed to and throwing in a couple of dealer installed options that it's missing at no charge.

Lol i am driving a platinum hybrid tonight. My dealer discounted it to within 1500 of the lariat. Only thing missing is the spray in bed liner and i lose the 0% for 48. Now it’s 1.9 for 48. Kind of sucks but i may do it for the better interior etc that the platinum comes with. I read tosay where rheynhave halted production here in KY for navigators and lincoln.

I was actually looking at a base platinum as well, they are just super hard to get here.

I gave up 0% as well for 1.9, but the massive discount made up for it. After all the numbers were done, I asked how much a spray in liner was and they ate the cost because of the hassle… your dealer should do the same !

$650 is the cost here for one. My dealers general manager said they had not even been informed of the Ky plant shutdowns. I read in the Wall Street journal and he called and confirmed

Thats weird. I'm pretty sure all of the higher end F150's are produced in Dearborn

Yes the KY plants produce the Navigator and Expedition it just shows how tight the supply of aluminum has gotten. I suspect the orders may even be pushed again as the plant that burnt doesn't think they will back at 100% til mid 1st qrtr 2026.
