How do I permanently delete the engine shut down at the traffic light. I don’t want to have to hit the button on the dash every time I start the vehicle. Does anybody know a simple fix? Thank you.

You can do it through ForScan or just buy an Auto Start/Stop (AS/S) eliminator and install it. Google start stop eliminator.

The only way I know of to permanently delete is with Forscan. Any aftermarket start stop eliminator simply remembers whether you pushed the button the last time you shut the truck down, does not delete anything. Your choice.

If you already have forscan and the obd reader then it's free and you don't have to buy another dongle.

I saw where some folks were having trouble with stop start and ForScan on the 25's. Just what I was reading though can't confirm for myself.

The 4D Tech works great, easy install ... others are very good too. Look at my posts I have one recently on my experience with Auto Start Stop.
