After running Toyo Open Country A/T III tires in the snow, I finally made the decision to buy a second set of wheels and dedicated snow tires for my truck. The Toyos aren't horrible, but they aren't anything special in the snow and they get beat by plenty of normal highway tires. They didn't inspire confidence when braking and they weren't nearly as good as the Falken A/T3W or Nitto Terra Grappler G2 tires that I have run in the past.I’ll try them. How are they in the snow?
Now that I run dedicated snow tires in the winter, I have much better grip on snow/ice and in the other 3 seasons when I run my Continental Terrain Contact A/T tires, I have much better wet weather traction then I ever had with the Toyos.
