hello everyone, i have a 2021 rcsb xlt 301A F-150 and was a little disappointed to find out that the 8" touch screen radio only has front speaker outputs, does anyone know if the plug on the back has the pins for rear speakers and subwoofer outputs and if so is there a way that i can use forscan to add the rear speakers and subwoofer to my truck so i do not need to cut or splice into any wire harness?

So the radio should be the same in your truck as it would be in a ext. cab etc. I would think you could just pin in the rear speakers into the harness. And then use forscan to turn on the fader etc.

Does yours just have 4 or 5 speakers now? If so, the outputs are already pinned for the rear, just need to run wires from the plug shown C248 prob tied up under the dash under the radio. None of the ACMs have subwoofer outputs, they all use a factory amp; so you’d just have to tap into the door speakers and add an amp (which I think is better anyway than dealing with the factory amp).

Yours is the same as the first picture plus the dash speaker; see below. I also updated my first post with some subwoofer information.

Yes, I believe you would. Don’t take this as fact, but I’m guessing 727-01-01 xxxx-??xx-xxxx would need to be changed for speaker #3 and #4 output.

looking at Livnitup's forscan sheet i think you are correct ACM 727-01-01 looks like it is the radio if you or anyone else has a ext cab or quad cab with the basic stereo would you be able to check and tell me what the code is? the spread sheet has a bunch of different codes for the rear satellite speakers

i cant be the first person to have a reg cab truck and want the fader function... yet all the forums i have checked i have come up with no info

I have the 18 speaker system, but my rear doors are still run off of the ACM like you want yours to be. So, maybe my settings will work. Look specifically at the asterisked items in 727-01-01 xxxx-**xxx-xxx, and 727-01-03 XXXX-XXX*-xx--. That should be the settings for speakers 3 and 4.

The fader menu will have to be added in the APIM, I believe. Look at 7D0-01-01 X*xx-xxxx-xx--.

Here are my settings for the ACM:
727-01-01302B14FD10AC
727-01-028900000900C3
727-01-03000000000032
