Help!! Fumoto valve gasket

2021 5.0, with the Talon garage cat plate. I bought the Fumoto valve F137N. Today I decided to do the oil change.

I've drained my oil. I put the new valve on, but I took it off several times to try to reposition it so the lever would be at a better angle to access it. One time it dropped to the floor. Now the blue fiber gasket has disappeared. I have know idea where it went.

I really don't want to put the old plug back on, as it was somewhat messy working through the door of the cat plate, and this was the whole point of getting the Fumoto with the Talon plate.

Of course Fumoto is closed on Saturday. Does anyone know if the gasket is needed, or where I can get a replacement today?

Is there a gasket on the old plug? Could use it as a temporary fix. Or go to a big box store, most have a section with drawers of different washers/ gaskets.

The Ford plug's gasket is inset in the base so it is level with the base. The Fumoto base is completely flat with no inset channel..
I'll check with Lowes.

your quickest replacement may be to get a copper sealing washer or go to the autoparts store and see what they have for replacement oil drain plug washers. just about anthing that fits should work.
