Hi there. I bought a used 2021 F-150 Limited 4x4 yesterday, from a Ford dealer. It’s my first F-150, and the first proper FoMoCo product I’ve had in a long time (I’ve had a Lincoln MKS in the past, and have had some past and current Jaguars and Land Rovers, which have some FoMoCo engineering).
It is an early truck with a build date of 12/15/20, but per my research, it definitely has the BlueCruise hardware (extra sensors on the A-pillars and center stack, CoPilot 2.0 Active Prep on the window sticker).
I got FordPass all set up and connected to the car; however, I cannot get BlueCruise to show up in the Connected Services app. I also can’t seem to get the car to do any updates, even connected to Wi-Fi. It’s currently on
Additional details:
- SYNC version: 4.0.23291
- BlueCruise Map Version: MUST-14H394-AAF
- VIN: 1FTFW1E83MFA49516
Can anyone assist? I can’t believe Ford is this sloppy with SYNC 4 and 4A updates. If Apple and Google were this bad, heads would roll.
