I’ve been wanting to swap out my steering wheel for a bit on my 21 XLT

I’ve seen some lariat leather steering wheels with heat for pretty cheap on eBay. Comes with buttons and everything

I don’t really care to add the heat though, don’t feel like messing with the SCCM

My question is will I run into issues NOT hooking up the heated wheel cable?

You shouldn't run into any issues. Many of the 2023 F150 came with a heated steering wheel that was not hooked up due to a chip shortage. My F150 did not have the heated cable. I did eventually add the heat. It was expense as the steering control module had to be replaced, the climate control module had to be replace and programed.

Troy15553 -- I am in the same situation as my 2023 F150 Lariat does not have the heated steering wheel. Do you have the part number of the added modules?

I will try and locate the numbers in the morning. Chances are they will be different than your Truck. I have the power boost engine with blue cruise. One way to get the right parts is go to the ford dealer and inquire about parts pricing. Once you have the right one, there are a lot of online resources to get them at a better price. Also you can do most of it yourself. i recommend having the dealer program it. Google the install process to see if the steering wheel is equipped with heat. I was lucky and mine had it. Steering wheels are $$$$
