could be my steering wheel. It has the black circle on the top not the red/orange one..... Maybe thats the issue?

Have you tried using forscan to up the set temp higher to see if that makes it any better? I went 1°C higher on mine than default and even though it seems minimal it made a large difference in both the heat I could feel and the consistency across the wheel. At the default I could only really feel any warmth at the top of the wheel and it wasn't much, with the change I can feel it all the way around the wheel.

In forscan I changed SCCM value 724-06-01 *xxx xxxx from B to C

Temps start at a value of 0 (24°C) up through F (39°C) (0-9, A-F) and each step increases the wheel 1°.

Feels warmer than my probe is saying. But it is nice in the hands when driving. Outside temperature below freezing.
