Heated seats + steering wheel randomly on at start / key not detected

Hi,

I had heated seats and steering wheel randomly turn on the 10th or 5th start. I'm guessing this could have been a faulty sensor or something? And the one time it said "key not detected" even though it was in my pocket.

I'll be taking this to the dealer as the car is still under warranty so I want this looked at.

I'm guessing I should ask them to look at the TSB updates and any other software updates?

The heated seats and steering wheel turn on automatically when you have the climate control set to auto depending on the temperature. Mine are on almost every morning now that it is getting cooler.

I get the "key not detected" at least once per month on all my Fords. Very annoying. All I do is hit the lock and then unlock on the fob (with the doors of course locking and unlocking) and all's fine until next month.

I figured it was something that I was just going to have to live with. I really wish we could go back to using physical keys.
