So I myself was having trouble with adding a wireless key fob. I know it is easy but I seen videos on it and nothing worked. In order to add a key fob you must have a 902mhz frequency, (part number from ford) 164-R8166, and model of key fob has to be HC3T-15K601-BB (this tells the fob that it is an F150 key)
Before I start I tried every combination before giving up on the keys and sending the first two back. I bought a cheap one off Amazon, no luck. I also bought an OEM one from NorthCoast. They sent me a different Ford explorer OEM key fob dressed as an F150 key fob, didn’t work. I then bought one from OE Part off Amazon, didn’t work. I then stumbled upon this video and it helps out the orientation and timing of the key fobs, then in shock, complete success from this video. Anyways I thought I share it as others were confused on this forum too
