Handheld Code Scanner Not Showing DTC Codes Shown In FORScan

I have a Foxwell NT301 Plus code scanner that is showing no codes at this time. But when I run FORScan, I get a few codes. Is FORScan just better, or is this not a good brand of scanner?

What module(s) are showing codes in Forscan? I didn't pull up the manual, but the one you linked to may only be able to get OBDII codes, so only from the PCM. Forscan will get EVERYTHING.

Use Forscan.
It is cheap even with the 1 year license.

Some aftermarket tools only look at SAE codes not Ford specific codes and Forscan reads them all.

For a Windows laptop, I prefer a USB OBD adapter.

For monitoring PIDs with a mobile device, I prefer a Bluetooth or Wifi OBD adapter
